ABOUT
Rebekah Enderle is a freelance dance artist and performer. She has trained in and studied many dance forms, and specializes in performing modern and contemporary dance. She earned a Master’s degree from New York University and Bachelors’ degrees from the University of Connecticut.
Rebekah’s mission as a dancer is rooted in a deep love of dancing: Dance is a means of sharing connection and community, a means of storytelling, and a means of igniting this love in others - of moving, dancing, and being present in one’s body.
She has had the pleasure of dancing in proscenium venues Herbst Theater, ODC Theater, Dance Mission Theater, Cowell Theater, CounterPulse, Joe Goode, SAFEhouse Arts, and others. She has danced in San Francisco Trolley Dances, and other site-specific projects.
She has performed with STEAMROLLER Dance Company, Dandelion Dancetheater Company, Joe Landini Dance, and projects with individual choreographers Angela Arteritano, Amanda K. White, Amy Lewis, Jesse Bie, Kat Lin, Raven Malouf-Renning, Victor Talledos, Daiane Lopes da Silva, SNJV, Pritha Kundu, Adrienne Ravez, Andi Salazar, and others.
Her choreographic work has been presented at ODC Theater, Dance Mission Theater, West Wave Festival at Joe Goode Annex, SAFEhouse Arts, and others.
Her dance-for-camera film work has screened on four continents as official selections for film festivals in London, Melbourne, Tokyo, New York, and others.
She has danced in events GLBTQIA2+ Runway Harmonic Convergence Drag Pageant celebrating visibility and representation of the queer and trans Asian and Pacific Islander community, Castro Street Block Party Halloween Glow in the Street, and others. Her CV is available upon request.
